SACRAMENTAL DEPARTMENT

Casey Hanley – Coordinator
632-2678 ext. 233

Sacraments are visible signs or symbols of God's saving love for us. Every person, every action has the potential for being a sign, a symbol and a "sacrament". Each of us is called to be a sacrament of Jesus' love and healing.

Candidates for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation take part in a Sacramental preparation process.

Children and youth should be able to pray aloud without assistance the following: the Sign of the Cross, the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Glory Be, the Act of Contrition and the Nicene Creed (Eucharist/Confirmation). Candidates should regularly attend Sunday Mass. Children preparing for Reconciliation/Eucharist are encouraged to participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word at the Sunday 9:30 am mass.

** Parents - Please Note - Applications for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will be mailed in August 2011**
